Celtic BBC1
Director of the Celtic Manor,  Glenn Lewis, seen here on the far right of the enclosed picture says: ‘This is a painting that gives our private dining room a focal point; inviting comment. I find this piece very uplifting and vibrant. I am delighted to have this work on display here in our private dining area’.
A BBC TV crew was in attendance to record the unveiling, where Christopher was also interviewed.
The work is a representation and recognition of many who have experienced an NDE. (Near Death Experience). As a rule, people report a vivid experience of a tunnel as they feel drawn into the Light.  My metaphor describes people on an other worldly beach, walking into a sunset. Or is it to another world; A new beginning?
The scene is described using strong orange tones fading to light yellows The media is acrylic on canvas, size 23×16″ without frame.
Chris says: ‘I am very proud that the best restaurant, in the most prestigious resort in Wales has my works on display’.  Three of Langley’s works are also on display in this area, as well of seven original works at the Newbridge on Usk, part of the Celtic Manor Estate.
Five of Langley’s original works are to go on display as part of the ‘Evolving Abstract’ Exhibition at the Agora Gallery, New York on 10th June 2014. The launch is on June 12th from 5pm, where Christopher Langley will be travelling from the UK to be in attendance.
