Chris has three works accepted at the Gate Gallery Open Exhibition 2016, the gallery’s first art exhibition of the year.
This is the first time Chris’ works of ‘Homeward Bound’ and ‘The Lighthouse’ have been on public display. A limited print of ‘The Red Umbrella’ is also on display.
All at the launch were impressed by the overall quality of the his works, with one viewer commenting on the vibrancy and detail of ‘Homeward Bound’. Another viewer, Mr Eggleton of Cardiff, commented that the use of reds in the Lighthouse was particularly striking, adding warmth to a very interesting painting. The framing was also commented upon as high quality.
The Gate Gallery Winter Open Exhibition 2016 is free to enter and is on until 26th February at The Gate Arts Centre, Kipoch Street, Roath, Cardiff.
